Josh Lutje
Professional Counselor Associate
I am a professional counselor associate working towards full licensure. I grew up In Oregon on the McKenzie River where I learned to love the the outdoors. I enjoy wilderness activities, gardening, blacksmithing and writing. I was a First Responder for many years and have a deep passion for helping those who serve others. I enjoy offering relationship couples and family counseling and love watching people thrive together. I also like working with individuals who are looking to heal, develop resilience and cultivate wellness. I chose to work as a counselor so I could help people discover the their full and healthful selves and to thrive in community with others. I like to create a warm and accepting environment wherein you can feel comfortable exploring and healing.
Josh's Approach
I like to develop a close therapeutic alliance of unconditional positive regard, commonality and trust. I approach therapy utilizing the Transtheoretical Model of Change that helps to determine the best modality for the client right where they are at and will help them go in the direction they would like to go.
