Eugene Therapists
Ashleigh Buss
Professional Counselor Associate
“Come as You Are” –Nirvana
I am a professional counselor associate working towards full licensure. I grew up in Washington State surrounded by both nature and city life, and I love finding the pockets of Eugene that feel like home. In my free time, I love reading pretty much any fiction book, line dancing, spending time outside (usually reading or walking), cooking new recipes with my partner, and playing with my cat Ottie. I have had a passion for mental health since middle school, where my school counselor made a lasting impact on my own mental health, and I continue to find more to love about the mental health field every day. Feeling safe to walk into the therapeutic environment, as whoever you are that day, is very important to me. So, I like to collaborate with clients in laying a foundation for a therapeutic relationship where you feel you are being met with acceptance and understanding, and where you do not feel burdened with expectations or a need to perform.
