Scott Lamb
Professional Counselor Associate
Hello! My name is Scott Lamb. I am an Oregonian through and through! I attended the University of Oregon and ran on the track team – I love my Ducks! I love to read, play music, watch good movies and TV shows. On day off you might find me standing in the river with a fly-rod in my hand.
Scott's Approach
I view clients as inherently capable of growth, with the resources for healing already within them. Therapy provides a supportive, nonjudgmental space to access those internal strengths.Through an IFS lens, we explore the different “parts” of yourself with curiosity and compassion, helping you develop greater self-awareness, reduce internal conflict, and move toward a more grounded, centered sense of Self.
My approach also emphasizes identifying and shifting unhelpful thought and behavior patterns through CBT, while using SFBT to focus on strengths, solutions, and forward movement. Together, these approaches support clients in moving from a sense of incongruence toward greater alignment between their values, identity, and actions. I also incorporate the Enneagram as a non-clinical tool to enhance self-understanding and illuminate patterns that impact relationships and decision-making.
